Role Call
If it turned out that the audience were comprised of ghosts, would it matter to you? Would you put on the play as excitedly? How about if your audience were zombies? If you could sense no audience at all? Do you, or do you not select those who purchase tickets? Are they entertained, baffled, stimulated, confused, disgusted? Does the act function as a looking glass? I delegate you to act in my play. You may act also within others or delegate one to act in yours. It then becomes eerily apparent that all of these little plays tie together into this grand one. There are plenty of ghosts and zombies in the audience - sometimes they pay attention, other times they soak and wonder. Why else would performing arts be such a prominent feature of elementary education? Plays - within a play! Authenticity is begot out of the individuals who regard God as the writer, and as the director.
