Qualms from Quo
There it is - the brain worm of status quo, tugging the reins within your mind, steering your soul to God knows where. It works with most - state an observation and pay attention to the reaction. “You drive that classic old Cadillac.” - Observation. “I got it because it was cheap; I will get a really nice one next.” - Reaction. State of mind, value-speak, coded message. Automated. Quietly perhaps, a surprise to it’s deliverer. What most thoughtlessly occurs to me will be what I pay least attention to. Arrival by car, no memory of the drive. Bafflement. Helpful and hurtful versions of this phantom state. Brain worms are ghosts. In forming of you, sniff out the invisible buggers. Ghosts are seldom seen, but known to appear in sound and odor. To accept without challenge is to reinforce. Waiting room experiments of the day-to-day. Sun’s out, make hay.

Elegant. The structure, the sustained argument.
